Because the remote wire from my radio was having trouble giving each amp a constant 12v so with relay it's a more steady voltage

Might need a relay on your remote. When I hooked up my 3 amps I could go to max volume but the subs would flutter real bad and voltage would drop real bad so I added a relay on my remote and it fixed it.

Shit I gave up on building my box. I never had the time and the money ain't right. If your amp is cutting off and over heating it can probably be fixed but it depends on the type of amp it is and if it's even worth getting it fixed. Sometimes it's better just buying a new one
