He wasn't any good honestly. the only reason why anyone cares about is becasue he died of aids or something. some of his early stuff with pharcyde and De la soul were decent but most of it was just forgettable. his later work was all shit. just shitty chopped it sample's with shitty drums on top of them. before he died nobody was really using his beats. for the fact thye wern't that good. it wasn't until he died he got a large cult following of homosexualz and cripples. slum village was also trash
