that is more of an issue in the black community. blacks getting killed by police is not an important issue. you know the reason why blacks are harassed more by police? because black areas typically have more crime. i don't trust government stats

if you know anything about criminal justice departments, it's that they have a very common trend in juking the stats.. if you don't believe me watch the show called The Wire... one of the guys who directed it is a former cop and that's how those pigs roll cuz their careers come on the line before the well being of the community

Now with that said.. what's wrong with niggas being poor? Yeah you are going to have more crime, but that is exactly the point. You wanna stop gang violence and drug dealing? Stop talking about guns and laws. Start fighting to get jobs for the kids. That's fundamentally how the power dynamics of gangs (and other syndicates that prey on poor and working people) in relationship to minority communities will be challenged.

Such power structures can easily be changed if we stop thinking within the constraints of our system... but that's the point. There is always going to be poverty the way things are and as a result minorities will always be disproportionately harassed by police. Police are enforcers of the law and the system, which are not designed to work in favor of poor and working class people. Thus, it is the unwritten rule in their job description to shoot minorities.

Personally, I am glad that people are becoming more disillusioned with our fuck ass country, but in reference to the thread I made about power (good and evil)... people are thinking about it in the wrong way.
