In the Bible (Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:27) there is a distinct passage that might be known to all of ya:
"But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you..."
And this is the original text in the The Latin Vulgate w/ Apocrypha (the early 5th century Bible that was translated into English (from Latin obviously))
"ego autem dico vobis diligite inimicos vestros benefacite his qui oderunt vos et orate pro persequentibus et calumniantibus vos"
In English we just simply know the phrase "Love your enemies", when in fact it is a severe mistranslation
The fact is Latin has two words that both mean enemy
One is the word I highlighted above, which is "inimicos" (singular is inimicus), meaning personal enemy or foe
The other word is "hostis", which is the enemy of the state, or simply POLITICAL enemy
two niggas on my block were about to square up over petty shit, but once the police entered the periphery all of that shit was put to the side and they both put up a united front so they didn't give the cops an excuse to act on some bullshit and put both of them behind bars over the weekend
the point of this is that the material purpose for most of us is to establish means to ensure our survival, no matter what the context entails
meanwhile there are others whose existence is to PROFITEER off of our means to survive, whether it be through mass incarceration or through the concept of employment
thus the beef we have with niggas is inherently subject to change cuz we both exist under the same conditions, while the relationship we hold with what is called the state and its agents is irrevocable
such is politics in command and ya apply this concept everyday in ya life whether you know it or not
even religious thumpers back in the early centuries recognized that shit while on hallucinogens
christianity (or any religion) could never have survived by being friends with everybody
