Saw a midnight premiere for It Chapter 2 and it was pretty great

Better than the first in my opinion

if you enjoy psychedelics these are two more "art-house" films that you may or may not enjoy tripping out to. A great watch regardless of the fact.



This one is by Orson Welles (he did Citizen Kane) and is told in a dream-like nightmare manner. Better than Citizen Kane btw

I’ve seen a fair amount and I’m always watching more

Right now I’m going down an extensive list given to me by a film professor (I’m in film school) as well as whatever is suggested on the Criterion Channel.

One thing though there are plenty of movies out there better than Citizen Kane.. at least in my opinion even Orson Welles said there are movies on his filmography that are better

Joker is definitely worth seeing IMO.. i definitely enjoyed the dark undertones and it was definitely clever enough for me to think of it as more than just a "superhero" movie

in it's own right it is a character study and for that they had to give up the more comic-book elements of the character, which was the right move in my opinion.

don't know if it will be in my top films of this year (cuz it could be better) but it's definitely worth it for the story alone.
