this might be a dumbass question. but how do you collab on a beat? does one person like pick the sample and the other guy does the drums and shit?

This is an excellent question, Rekshots.

Yes, you are correct. Or People sometimes send complete beats and see what the other person can do. Usually when I collab I do that. That way I have my version of the beat, and the collab beat. You'd be surprised as to what comes back to you when you send a full beat, sometimes it doesn't even sound like the one you sent.
