^ Good argument. Thanks for the posting.
I think restrictions should be the same across the board. Minorities will be treated differently if a law goes into place? Minorities could sue if they are treated differently.
Eh.. of course minorities will always be treated differently than whites.

wow what a POS.
Governor Ronald Reagan was present when the protesters arrived and later commented that he saw "no reason why on the street today a citizen should be carrying loaded weapons"
Why can't the Governor of Texas have this same feeling?
well it's good that you acknowledge it but I hope you see from that there are means of using guns to help protect communities and fight oppression... it is a necessary thing because the enemy fundamentally won't respect nothing unless it is force
gun control measures in turn hinder just that and can be politically used as a means (even by the NRA-type of folks) to politically shut down these kinds of movements
and there is nothing else to say from that really
Chiraq and co. are not cop-outs they are the result of a lack of initiative (purposeful i might add) to socio-economically care for such places and the best progressive movements rise when residents use the guns to look out for each other instead of shooting each other
and the shit with Las Vegas? well it's unfortunate that nobody there had a gun on them to fire back and put the mofo down. nothing/nobody is perfect and society is becoming so fucked up to the point where it makes sense to keep one on you. All i can say for now is we gotta focus on the class warfare contradiction when it comes to questions like these.
The state and corporations alike have an inherent interest to carry an arsenal to keep people in line. So how are people supposed to defend themselves?

so as you can see that will never happen. again, think politics and how everything in society moves in contradiction (with the class warfare question being at the forefront)
laws in this country are meant to be disproportionate
