Local Houston Businesses

I'm making this thread to give a shout out to some of the local independent businesses in and around Houston. Post places you like that may not be as well known as they should be and maybe a brief description of why you go there, price ranges, location and menu items.

They don't all have to be restaurants but that's mainly what I'm interested in. You can post non Houston places but please make sure to state location.

I'll start with a place I like to grab lunch sometimes, Rocky's Subs in Gunspoint at Greens rd. and 45 by the Luby's. It's been there for at least 20 years run by the same little asian couple, they are from Philly and make a mean cheese steak w/ hot peppers and grilled onion, their Italian sausage sub is also dank and they are very reasonably priced. I also see people getting pizza their a lot but have yet to try it.

Here you can see their menu and I happened to catch a TTO favorite while I was there, Boy C and his lady friend!

Here's a bad pic of a italian sausage with fried onion, shits dank.

Also was kidding Boy C pls dont't turn this thread into some SJW political crap or I'll come find you. Use it to promote local black businesses because I'll probably try anything suggested here.

FYI I can keep this thread going forever all by myself.

Next up is a favorite of mine, Moontower Inn, located just east of downtown Houston at 3004 Canal St.

This place specializes in burgers and wild game dogs, they also have over 99 beers on tap and is guaranteed to be full of liberal hipsters to satisfy the Boy C in anybody!

Prices aren't too bad, expect to spend $15 or more if you drink beer like a man. I recommend a Cheech with a fried egg and some tater salad, pic related.

It's all outdoor seating so keep that in mind.
