Look i know the love for Screw is real and all

but yah need transition the love by keeping up wit da times you feel me

Screw music in combo wit da Memphis shit made rap what it is today

some of it is weak ass shit and even faggy but there is real shit still around

Big KRIT for one, and several overs outta the ATL who got da streets on lock

and shout out to ATL dey da only ones who kept Pimp C's message of unity alive and look where they at today (the IRONY)

and i know most of y'all know this it's just the few weirdos like the one who made the Sexy Screw Thread y'all mightt as well start wearing backpacks and buy skateboards... and go move to Europe diz is street music not eastcoast stairwell cyphers as I once said

and most importantly, always forward never backwards

and as independent music listeners we know better by uniting wit da dope shit of today but never cosign fuckery

fuckery is fuckery no matter what decade you in

I jam Screw but I don't act like everything Screw did was a 10 of 10.
Im not gonna act like every S.U.C. rapper or album is 10 of 10.
There's good shit and not so good shit.
The thing is people respect the shit out of Screw and S.U.C.
People luv Screw music more then me .....
I will say this tho dissing Screw or taking away from Screw Music even a tiny bit
is not the way to go in Texas
This boyz been at it strong since Screw blew up around 93
that's a long azz time bruh
You gotta work with em ... there will be room in the game
but don't piss Screwheads off cuz they not gonna be feelin that
it's like saying something about Scarface but not as bad cuz Scarface international
Screw strong in Texas and the South ... pretty much international but
not mainstream hott ...somehow more underground even tho SUC has broke into mainstream.

No sir it’s a saying that’s universal in context

A lotta older heads don’t know how to capitalize on their status and connect with the newer generation

Only a few really remain relevant today and that’s a result of them understanding that like Bun B, Jadakiss, and as much as I hate to say it Jay-Z

That’s just the industry politics of it all and you know what it has to be progressive minded because everything is in relation to the cosmos and it has to be moving forward (I know this sounds retarded pseudo-intellectual, but it’s actually true if you take a few moments to think about it, I’m really just tryna break down how backwards people can think)

And music is really just subjective at the end of the day, but if these die hards really wanna put on for the music then they need to understand these relationships better

I think to myself how if everything wasn’t so formulaic by way of the industry then art forms like Screw music prolly coulda seen more widespread recognition

Texas needs to take a page from ATL though period

Texas music needs more cross over appeal

not just internet but like a hit song go on a run like back in the day

Texas has a diverse sound but what we are known for doesn't reflect that

people on the internet promise they love Texas music but the numbers don't prove it when it comes to sales

just like the industry like to give us props so they can get out support but they don't support us

then if an artist does have some success in this era he don't sound from Texas at all ...
He sound from aTL ....
