I've been on this site for about a week and notice a recurring theme with you...in the fact that you choose to make opinions which you perceive to be ACCURATE and is fucking off. Lets examine a couple of things: In another thread you try to disregard Sean Price and made mention that his last GOOD album was Da Shinin. LMAOOOOOOOOOOO. first off Dah Shinin was his album to begin with...it was Smif N Wessun (I can tell your young and ignorant and incompetent as fuck when it comes to certain topics). Now hear you are doing the same thing, not knowing the history of battle rap which started in The Bronx. Or we can take it a step further in say its no more then roasting, ribbing, playing the dozens (the shit always been here just in a different platform). Whichever terminology you choose to utilize. Can you even tell me the first battle that took place? Or the percentage (18%-20%) of every cd sold by an artist. If the average battle rapper is getting paid 25K doesnt have to pay no producers, managers, promotional retail. what does that tell you? The average rapper has battle driven rhymes even if its hyperbole. You need to do your research breh.
Also you have this notion and once again its a dumb one, but i know you just flapping your gums and basically talking loud and not saying nothing. You choose to be under the perception that underground rapper can't make money or is somehow irrelevant. SMFH Tech N9NE just broke the Forbes List.

Boy oh boy DAH SHININ is Smif N wessun album breh. Those two things shouldnt even be mention in the same sentence. you mention Buckshot you should listen thoroughly to Survival Skills with KRS (and this is coming from someone that once hate KRS music). Majority of the Wu have been putting out decent stuff. Method Man drop something not long ago and i'll say it was decent (couldve dont without certain features). Matter fact Meth just laid a verse for that new Havoc & Alchemist CD. UGod is always going to be UGOD. And Raekwon still has bars.
In terms of battle rap your always going to have that cause that is the medium, the street element. And you should let one battle (and Ty Law is pretty weak). Turn you off certain battles you should check out Like:

some of these battle rappers had went on to venture into other things. Shotgun Suge put out music, Dumbfoundead and a couple of others. sure they'll have that "underground" label attached to they name. however some of those dudes are decent.
